ThePABairfiltersshouldbeinspectedperiodicallyandcleaned/changedasneededtoensuremaximumcooling

efficiency.Clean/replacefiltersmoreoftenindustyenvironments.

lter(9435602691)canberemovedfirstlooseningthefourthumbscrewsonthefrontdoorassemblyandthen

loweringthedoor.Oncethedoorisopenthefilterretainerassemblycanberemoved.Theretainerisremoved,ina

hingedfrontdoormodel,witha#1Phillipsscrewdriver.Thenon‐hi

ngedversionfeaturesafilterretainerthatcanbe

removedwithouthardwareremoval.Thefoamfiltermaterialis1/2"thick,20ppi.

STEP 1

Loosenthefrontpanelthumbscrewsandopenthefrontpanel.Thehinged

frontpanelswingsdownwardtoexposethefilterretainerscreenandfilter

material.Thefrontpanelisremovableonthenon‐hingedmodels.

STEP 2 Hingedfrontpanelsrequireremovalthefournutsandstarwashersthathold

thefilterretainerscreenandfiltermaterialinplace.Besuretokeepthenuts

andwashersforre‐use.Non‐hingedmodelshavefilterretainersthatare

heldinplacebyfriction.

STEP 3 Removethefi lterretainer.Thefilterretainerwillbereused.Notethe

orientationsoitcanbereinstalledusingthesameorientation.

STEP 4 Graspfilterandcarefullyliftupwarduntilfilterseparatesfromthefront

panel.

STEP 5 Cleanwithcompressedair,washwithdetergent/water,orreplaceas

necessary.

Caution

DRY THE FILTER MATERIAL THOROUGHLY BEFORE REINSTALLATION.
