Removing the Hard Disk from the Secondary HDD Bay
1. Turn off the computer, and turn it over and remove the battery and component bay
cover (see pages 6 - 4 & 6 - 5).
2. Remove screws & from the secondary HDD assembly.
3. Slide the HDD assembly in the direction of arrow
.
4. Lift the HDD assembly out of the computer .
HDD Insulation Plates
Note that the HDD insu-
lation plates for the pri-
mary and secondary
hard disks, though simi-
lar in outward appear-
ance, are NOT
interchangeable. The
plates are clearly
marked 1ST HDD & 2nd
HDD.
Make sure you use the
appropriate insulation
plate for the HDD as the
sizes are slightly differ-
ent
