Preparation for Use
- System connections -
All satellite speakers provide the same performance.
Their positions can be exchanged with one another.
" Connecting the satellite speakers
Insert the speaker plugs to the subwoofer/amplifier unit according to the color coding.
Connect the speaker cords to the satellite speakers first and then to the subwoofer/
amplifier unit.
Caution:
! Make sure to connect the speakers after unplugging the DVD player and the
subwoofer/amplifier unit.
! Insert the speaker plug fully with the rising side facing to the left.
! Hold the speaker plug when removing it from the subwoofer/amplifier unit. Pulling
the cord may cause malfunction to the subwoofer/amplifier unit.
! Do not mistake the and , and right and left terminals of the speaker cords. (The
right speaker is placed on the right when you face the system. See page 16.)
! Only the supplied speakers should be used with this product.
! Do not stand or sit on the speakers. You may be injured.
Binding cords:
Tie the cords connected to the subwoofer/amplifier unit with a cord holder.

! Never short-circuit the speaker cords. If the
speaker cords are short-circuited, the protec-
tion circuit is activated and the power is turned
off. In such a case, check that the cords are
properly connected before turning the power
on again.
