Tethering/Dial-up Networking
USB Tethering for Windows Computer
Share your phone’s mobile data connection via USB. You may need to prepare your computer to establish a network connection
via USB. You are required to download USB driver to access this function.
1. Download the Sharp FX PLUS USB driver installation application from the Sharp website at http://sharp-world.com/
products/smartphone/fxplus/download.html.
2. Unzip and run the downloaded installer le. You may be required to reboot your computer to complete the installation.
3. Connect your Sharp FX PLUS to your computer with the USB cable. Do not change any settings on the phone.
4. Wait for your computer to auto-detect and congure the Sharp FX PLUS drivers.
5. Enable USB tethering mode on your Sharp FX PLUS:

From the Home screen, tap
Apps > Settings.
ⰺ
Tap
Wireless & networks > Tethering.
ⰺ
Check the checkbox, ‘USB tethering’.
6. You will see the tethering icon in the status bar on the phone and an additional driver may auto-install on your computer.
7. Once the above steps are completed, your computer will detect the Sharp FX PLUS as an Ethernet connection automatically
whenever the Sharp FX PLUS is connected and USB tethering mode is selected.
8. Your computer now can use the data connection of the phone without further conguration.
