LOADING PAPER INTO THE PAPER TRAY

When loading index cards, postcards or birthday cards

1) Set the paper knob to the "Thick Paper ( )" setting, and then load the

card print side down.

2) Set guide up, and then fit guide and against the loaded cards.

Close the front lid of paper tray by firmly pushing on its right

edge.

Attach the output tray.

z Most paper and envelopes will be fed correctly from the paper tray. However, if

paper or envelopes are particularly stiff or heavy, they should be fed one at a

time through the bypass tray. This will avoid wrinkling or misfeeding.

z It is recommended that you perform test printing on normal paper before printing

on the card.

With some sizes of paper, guide may stick out of the paper tray. In this case,

print with the front lid of the paper tray open.

Be sure to load in

portrait direction.

Place this projection

toward the printer.
