MAINTENANCE

Open the front cover.

Remove the toner cartridge gently.

Hold the toner cartridge with both hands as shown in the

illustration, and pull it out of the machine.

Remove the new toner cartridge from the

box and shake it five or six times

horizontally.

Shake the toner cartridge horizontally.

Do not rotate it as shown at left.

It is important to thoroughly shake the supply cartridge for 10 seconds as shown in the diagram in order to ensure

proper operation of toner supply system.
