Combine File

Users can combine two files in the HDD of MX-5112N / MX-4112N into one file.

Note: Users CANNOT do the followings.

1. Combine three or more files.

2. Combine some part of data.

3. Specify the position of combination (Page inserts).

Create PDF for PC Browsing

Users can browse the PDF data stored on the MFP’s HDD from their PC by converting the filing data into PDF data.

Of course, they can download the PDF data.

Note: When you use this feature, both normal document filing data and PDF data are created, so they consume the capacity of

MFP HDD.

Store PC’s Application Data into MFP’s HDD

In addition to saving the filing data as PDF, users can use the MFP’s HDD as the NAS. Other users can read/upload

the data stored in MFP.

Note: We cannot assure the data stored into MFP’s HDD, so we recommend installing the optional mirroring kit (MX-EB12) for

safety.

Data Backup (Mirroring Kit)

Data handling has been enhanced on the MX-5112N / MX-4112N, for example users can use the MFP’s HDD as

NAS and share/edit the document filing data. The optional Mirroring Kit is a second hard drive which enables

data back up of those files stored on the HDD.

Even if one HDD is broken, the data can be secured.
